Achievers on Display - A CRA Banner Project

Banner Project for Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Polk Street & L.B. Brown Avenue

The Community Redevelopment Agency Banner Project, established in 2023, honors African Americans who have significantly impacted the City of Bartow.

Initially adorning Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Polk Street, the project has now expanded to L.B. Brown Avenue, featuring 97 banners celebrating notable individuals with ties to Bartow. These trailblazers, alongside historic churches and schools, highlight the rich heritage and contributions of the community.

The CRA Banner Project aims to inspire future leaders by showcasing the achievements of Bartow's past and present residents.
