Lyle Road Closure 2Lyle Road Closure

FDOT began a Traffic Light project on Lyle Road in Bartow in mid-February.  For this phase, the contractor will have the road closed for the next 3-4 weeks as they relocate utilities. Note that the rear entrance to Dairy Queen will be open to traffic going to the business during operating hours. The road will, however, be closed to through traffic and no traffic will be permitted to enter the intersection at Lyle and Rt. 98. A good alternative would be the signalized intersection at Smith Lane if coming from E.F. Griffin Rd.

Residents on Lyle Parkway are encouraged to use the detours that will be in place or the signalized intersection at Smith Lane. We regret the inconvenience to motorists but look forward to making the intersection safer for all once the work is completed.

app on phone in handMyBartow App

The City of Bartow has launched a MyBartow app which uses SeeClickFix, a new tool that empowers residents to report quality-of-life issues and request government services. The app is available for both Apple and Android devices from the App Store or on Google Play. Residents also can access the SeeClickFix service from the City’s website. Both the app and the SeeClickFix webpage allow individuals to make service requests with photos, location information, and other details directly to the City’s Customer Service department.
