Meetings
The City of Bartow Development Review Committee (DRC) normally meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month beginning at 1:30pm. Meetings are only held when development applications are submitted by applicants that require review. Meetings are held either virtually or in person depending on the circumstances.

An agenda for each meeting is normally available two weeks prior to the scheduled date.

Members
The DRC is comprised of members consisting of the director or manager, or their designee, of the Planning, Public Works, Fire Rescue, Law Enforcement, Electric, Water, Wastewater and other departments as necessary.
General Functions
The DRC serves in an advisory role to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Adjustments and City Commission for the purpose of review, evaluation and recommendations on land development issues or other matters as deemed necessary. The City Manager appoints a Chairman from one of the members who is then responsible for facilitating the activities of the committee.
