Dear Valued Vendors - In an effort to improve communication and streamline and reduce administrative costs, the City's Procurement Department has transitioned to a new eProcurement solution (OpenGov) for publishing solicitation and receiving vendor responses.

To Register as a Vendor

Register your account early to begin receiving email notifications for Bid/ Contract opportunities. Registration is 100% free for vendors!

  • OpenGov will send you an email to activate your account, so be on the lookout for the communication. Or you may subscribe to our bids by navigating to https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/bartowfl and clicking the “Subscribe” button.

The City will be using NIGP category codes, outlining the options available to vendors. Please review this article on setting up category codes and notification preferences. Should you have any additional questions, contact the Procurement Department, at purchasing@cityofbartow.net. We look forward to receiving your bids!

Note: Be advised a purchasing preference shall be afforded to Local, Veteran Business Enterprises (VBE), and Women/Minority Business Enterprises (W/MBE) in accordance with the Purchasing policies of the City of Bartow. In order to receive said preference as a VBE or W/MBE please submit a copy of your certification via the below certification submittal form.  Vendors are still required to register above.
