Douglas H. Allen Water Reclamation Facility
This facility is owned and operated by the City of Bartow and is a 5.33mgd Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Summary of Services
- Preliminary Treatment: Prepares wastewater for treatment process.
- Primary Treatment: Screening, Pumping, and Grit Removal.
- Secondary Treatment: Removes BOD and TSS by aeration and filtration.
- Disinfection: Destroying or inactivating disease-causing organisms.
- Sludge Treatment: Treated Biosolids.
- Effluent-to-Energy: Reuse to Progress Energy-Hines Energy Complex.
Lift Stations
The facility oversees the operations of 43 City of Bartow Lift Stations.
