Public Hearing and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2020-04 – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA; SAID AMENDMENT BEING KNOWN AS “AMENDMENT #CPA-20-01-SS”; SPECIFICALLY TO CHANGE THAT PARCEL OF LAND OWNED BY CHRISTIAN HOME FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH AT BARTOW, INC. FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO INSTITUTIONAL; TRANSMITTING SAID AMENDMENT TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES (DEO) FOR A FINDING OF COMPLIANCE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.
b. Public Hearing and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2020-05 – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA, REZONING APPROXIMATELY 0.88 ACRES OF LAND OWNED BY CHRISTIAN HOME FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH AT BARTOW, INC., AND LOCATED IN SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 30 SOUTH, RANGE 25 EAST, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA, FROM R-1A, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO PI, PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.
c. Public Hearing and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2020-06 – AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE 2019-2023 FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM ANNUAL UPDATE; PROVIDING FOR LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR ADMINISTRATIVE INCLUSION; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENERS ERRORS; PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC ACCESS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.
d. Public Hearing and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2020-07 – AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO CONSERVATION; CREATING SECTION 5.07.00 OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA; PROVIDING PROCEDURES AND STANDARDS FOR THE USE OF WATER EFFICIENT PLUMBING IN NEW CONSTRUCTION, THE USE OF ENERGY EFFICIENT APPLIANCES IN NEW CONSTRUCTION, AND THE DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF NEW IRRIGATION SYSTEMS; PROVIDING STANDARDS FOR IRRIGATION SYSTEM MAINTENANCE; PROVIDING FOR EXEMPTIONS, ALTERNATIVE COMPLIANCE AND ENFORCEMENT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION; THE ADMINISTRATIVE CORRECTION OF SCRIVENER'S ERRORS AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
