b. Issuance of proclamation recognizing January 17, 2019 Tree City USA/Arbor Day. Being accepted by Euneshia Proctor, Bartow Parks and Recreation Services Supervisor.

Final reading and approval of Ordinance No. 2019-20 – AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF 1ST AVENUE TOWNHOMES, BEING A SUBDIVISION LYING IN SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 30 SOUTH, RANGE 25 EAST, CITY OF BARTOW, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA; AGREEING TO ACCEPT FOR MAINTENANCE BY THE CITY OF BARTOW CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS THEREIN DEDICATED TO THE PUBLIC; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.
b. First reading and consideration of Ordinance No. 2020-01 – AN ORDINANCE DISCONTINUING, CLOSING AND VACATING A PLATTED ALLEY EXTENDING WEST FROM US HIGHWAY 17 SOUTH APPROXIMATELY 238’; AND LYING BETWEEN LOTS 1 THRU 5, BLOCK 2 AND LOTS 1 THRU 5, BLOCK 3 ALL OF WHICH ARE PART OF U A LIGHTSEY’S SUBDIVISION, PB 6, PG 40, PUBLIC RECORDS OF POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE
c. First reading and consideration of ORDINANCE NO. 2020-02 – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA, REZONING APPROXIMATELY 37.17 ACRES OF LAND OWNED BY BARTOW CITRUS PRODUCTS, LLC, AND LOCATED IN SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 30 SOUTH, RANGE 25 EAST, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS I-2, “HEAVY INDUSTRIAL”; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.
d. First reading and consideration of ORDINANCE NO. 2020-03 – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA, REZONING APPROXIMATELY 24.47 ACRES OF LAND OWNED BY JULE & DARLENE DEAN, AND LOCATED IN SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 25 EAST, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS RE-1, “SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ESTATES” AND “PR, PUBLIC RECREATION”; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.
