a. Final Reading and Public Hearing of Ordinance No. 2019-15 – AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING UPON THE PETITION OF THE OWNER THEREOF APPROXIMATELY 9.8 ACRES OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2260 E.F. GRIFFIN ROAD IN SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 24 EAST, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.

b. Final Reading and Public Hearing of Ordinance No. 2019-16 – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA; SAID AMENDMENT BEING KNOWN AS “AMENDMENT #CPA-19-04-SS”; SPECIFICALLY ASSIGNING LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE TO AN ANNEXED PARCEL OWNED BY SUNSWEET CITRUS LLC; TRANSMITTING SAID AMENDMENT TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY (DEO) FOR A FINDING OF COMPLIANCE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.

c. Final Reading and Public Hearing of Ordinance No. 2019-17 – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA, REZONING APPROXIMATELY 9.8 ACRES OF LAND OWNED BY SUNSWEET CITRUS LLC, AND LOCATED IN SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 24 EAST, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS RE-2, “SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ESTATE”; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.

d. Public Hearing and consideration of Resolution No. 19-4033-R – A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-2019 ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF BARTOW.

e. Public Hearing and consideration of Resolution No. 19-4034-R – A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA ELECTING TO USE THE UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTION FOR NON-AD VALOREM SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED WITHIN THE INCORPORATED AREAS OF THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR THE MAILING OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

f. First Reading and Consideration of Ordinance 2019-18 – AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO FLORIDA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMPANY, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, A NON-EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE FOR A PERIOD OF 30 YEARS TO SELL, DISTRIBUTE, TRANSPORT, AND TRANSMIT NATURAL, MANUFACTURED, OR MIXED GAS IN THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA; PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH SAID FRANCHISE MAY BE EXERCISED; MAKING FINDINGS; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE; AND REPEALING PRIOR ORDINANCE.

g. First Reading and Consideration of Ordinance 2019-19 – AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF CHURCH STREET STATION, BEING A SUBDIVISION LYING IN THE NORTHEAST ¼ OF THE SOUTHWEST ¼ OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 30 SOUTH, RANGE 25 EAST, CITY OF BARTOW, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE UPON FINAL PASSAGE.

f. Acceptance of Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce FY 2018-2019 Activity Report for the City of Bartow.

13. RESOLUTIONS

a. Resolution No. 19-4035-R – A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BARTOW, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE CITY OF BARTOW WASTEWATER SYSTEM FISCAL SUSTAINABILITY AND ASSET MANAGEMENT PLAN (“AMFS PLAN”); AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE INTENT OF THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

b. RESOLUTION NO. 19-4036-R – A RESOLUTION REVISING THE TABLE OF CIVIL PENALTIES FOR CIVIL CODE VIOLATIONS AS PROVIDED FOR IN ORDINANCE NO. 2016-02 AND ORIGINALLY CREATED BY RESOLUTION 16-3920-R; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
