SLIDING SCALE FEE ASSISTANCE POLICY
Bartow Parks & Recreation Dept. (BPRD), parks and facilities are supported by the tax payers of Bartow. BPRD realizes that recreation dollars are discretionary & strives to keep fees affordable. The BPRD realizes that some people are unable to pay for leisure services which are needed for a balanced lifestyle. Depending on the level of need an individual may qualify for a 40%, 30%, or 20% reduction in the fee for designated programs. Fee assistance may be used for all ages, day camp, preschool, youth sports, classes and other specific activities where the total fee exceeds $30. Fee assistance is not available for groups, teams, adult leagues with sponsors, annual passes, special trips, tours and all rentals.
