Library Card 2

To get a Library Card simply bring in a photo ID that has a current address, or a photo ID and an official document, (i.e.: an electric bill, etc. which has the current address on it), and fill out our quick form!

The cards are valid at any Polk County Library and at the Batrtow Public Library you can check out 15 items at a time for two weeks at a time, renew from home, have items mailed to your house, get 3 hours a day on the computers, use research databases, and even receive material from around the world through our Inter-library Loan service!

A library card at the Bartow Public Library is the most valuable learning tool you can own, and it doesn’t cost a dime. With a library card you have access to over 815,000 print and nonprint materials from any public library in Polk County. You can practice newly learned reading skills, research projects for school, play computer games, type up reports, or simply satisfy your curiosity about the world around you.
